Why Child Sponsorship?
Currently, Shared Love Uganda is blessed with 40 children under the sponsorship program at Shared Love Junior School Makukuba. To all sponsors through your sponsorship with us, this is what has gone direct to your child in terms of services/ benefits.
- Break and Lunch while at school
- School fees/ Tuition
- Scholastic materials like books, pens, and pencils
- Basic needs like mattresses and bed sheets
- Guidance and counseling
Child Sponsorship Updates 2021
- 120 families reached with messages of rights awareness
- 5 meetings with parents and other caretakers of children held
- Correspondences made with sponsored children
- Over 6 Counselling sessions held with parents, children, and other community members
- 6 purpose talks done in schools and children’s mutual groups
- 19 child-related cases have been reported and followed up by SLU with the help of child monitors and other stakeholders when it comes to child protection
