Commitment to Transparency

• Independent Audits: SLU undergoes annual external audits to verify financial integrity and compliance with NGO board requirements.
• Board Oversight: Our Board of Trustees safeguards organizational assets, while the Executive Council and Management Board provide policy direction and governance.
• Public Reporting: Program updates, newsletters, and annual reports are shared openly with partners, sponsors, and stakeholders.

Stewardship of Resources

• Education: Funds supported 11 Senior Four candidates sitting UCE exams, renewal of our high school license, and expansion of vocational training.
• Health: 102 safe deliveries, 400+ child immunizations, and new equipment installed at SLU Health Centre.
• Community Empowerment: 30 sensitization campaigns across 12 districts, agribusiness training, and leadership development.
• Environment: Continued tree planting and sustainable agriculture projects.

Impact in 2025

• Children Reached: Over 4,000 children benefited from education, health, and empowerment programs.
• Families Supported: Hundreds of households strengthened through goat projects, savings groups, and vocational skills.
• Communities Transformed: Access to clean water, maternal health services, and child rights awareness expanded across multiple districts.
